INDICATIONS:

Thiamphenicol is a broad-spectrum antibiotic active against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and Mycoplasmas. It is used for the treatment and control of:

• Respiratory and intestinal bacterial infections in poultry.

• Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD).

• Infectious Coryza.

• Colibacillosis and Enteritis.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

• Not to be administered together with bactericidal drugs such as Penicillins, Cephalosporins, and Aminoglycosides.

• Not to be used in laying hens.

SIDE EFFECTS:

• This product has hematological toxicity, mainly reversible inhibition of red blood cell production.

• This product has a strong immunosuppressive effect.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

Administered via oral route:

• Poultry: 80-125 ml per 100 liters of drinking water for 3-5 days (equivalent to 40-50 mg of Thiamphenicol per kg bodyweight).

• Or as directed by a veterinarian.

SPECTRUM OF ACTIVITY:

Highly effective against:

• Respiratory and intestinal tract infections.

• Fowl Coryza and Fowl Cholera.

• Mycoplasma spp, Pasteurella spp, Salmonella spp, E. coli spp, and Clostridium perfringens.

WITHDRAWAL TIME:

• Meat: 4 Days (Poultry’s meat should not be used during treatment and within 4 days from the last treatment).

• Poultry, Sheep, and Cows.

• Store at temperature between 15-30°C.
